Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora Endorses Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate

RED BANK, NJ – Today, Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora endorsed Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate.

“As Mayor of the Capital City, I have been impressed with how Tammy Murphy has partnered with the City and took the lead to establish a Maternal Health Center in Trenton.  The site was also specifically chosen so that it could help fill the void with the lack of maternal care for countless mothers in our community.  Tammy’s project is also integral to the Trenton Housing Authority’s application for critical federal grant funding as a Choice Neighborhood designed to reshape the most distressed parts of Trenton,” said Mayor Gusciora. “From hosting Nurture NJ Family Festivals for our families to seeking solutions with food deserts, Tammy has worked tirelessly to uplift the voices of our city. Tammy’s collaboration with our community has undoubtedly made Trenton, and our state, a safer place for Black and brown mothers to deliver and raise a baby. I know she will be a champion for our families in U.S. Senate and I am incredibly proud to endorse her.”

Murphy has also received endorsements from over 80 faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over 100 elected officials.
