Tammy Murphy Awarded 2024 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction

RED BANK, NJ – Tammy Murphy was awarded the 2024 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction in her bid for U.S. Senate. The distinction comes as Murphy has made advocating for gun violence prevention and making a commitment to govern with gun safety in mind a priority of her campaign.

“I am extremely proud to receive this distinction from Moms Demand Action,” said Tammy Murphy. “I’m fully dedicated to safeguarding our families by championing common-sense gun safety measures nationwide. In the Senate, I will stand up to the gun lobby and fight for universal background checks, ending immunity for gun makers, and banning military-style assault rifles. Gun violence knows no bounds and it’s time we build a future where our communities are free from senseless tragedy.”

Murphy has also received endorsements from over 80 faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over 100 elected officials.
