New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association Construction Division of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Endorses Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate

RED BANK, NJ – Today, the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association Construction Division of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers endorsed Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate.

“Tammy is the most pro-union candidate in this race and has consistently stood up for the values and priorities of our women, men, and hardworking families,” Joe Egan, President of the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association. “Tammy has been an ardent advocate for including union labor in New Jersey’s booming clean energy economy and growing film industry. We are confident that she will be a steadfast ally for worker’s rights, fair wages, safe working conditions, and good benefits. Tammy will be a leader in the fight for New Jersey’s working families and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers proudly endorse her for U.S. Senate.”

Murphy has received endorsements from several unions including the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 21, the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers, the State Troopers Fraternal Association, the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 194, the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association, and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. Murphy has also received support from over eighty faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over one-hundred elected officials.
