Tammy Murphy Receives Endorsement from Camden County

RED BANK, NJ —  Today, Tammy Murphy received the endorsement from Camden County in her bid for U.S. Senate.

Murphy has also won conventions in Middlesex, Somerset, Bergen, Union, and the endorsements of Passaic and Union counties, all of which represent some of New Jersey’s most diverse and urban communities.

“Today’s endorsement in Camden County shows that New Jerseyans are ready for a Senator who is going to prioritize the issues they care about most — affordability, reproductive rights, gun safety, climate change, and preserving our democracy,” said Tammy Murphy. “I am proud of the overwhelming support my campaign has received in Camden, as well as from our community members, faith leaders, and elected officials. I care deeply about New Jersey’s families and they can absolutely count on me to stand up and show up to fight for their values in Washington.”

Murphy has also received endorsements from over 80 faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over 100 elected officials. Additionally, Murphy has received support from multiple unions including the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey, the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union New Jersey Locals 464A, 360, 1262, 312, and 152; the International Longshoremen’s Association; the New Jersey Council of Sheet Metal Workers; the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) International and the ATU New Jersey State Joint Council; the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association Construction Division of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25; the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 21; the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers; the State Troopers Fraternal Association; the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 194; the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association; and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters.
